Figma & MCP
Mockups, design systems and component libraries. The Figma MCP links the design system to code and speeds up production.
About
I’m Florian Humeniuk, a Product Designer. Since 2012, I’ve been designing interfaces, design systems and digital services, with a technical sensibility inherited from web integration. Today I explore AI to prototype faster, without ever letting go of a designer’s judgment.

How it all started
Yes, all at once. I started in 2012, after a degree specialized in web design. That foundation gives me a real technical sensibility: I design interfaces that actually work, not just on paper.
Naturally, I turned to interface and product: understanding a use, designing it, then making it exist with the teams who build it.
At L’Oréal’s Digital Service Factory, I took part in a global design system for 35 brands and in BeautyTech services in augmented reality and AI, including E-Shade Finder, winner of the CES 2023 Innovation Award.
See the L’Oréal case studyToo many well-designed products are carried by soulless, generic, interchangeable identities. I turned to Brand Design: not to abandon what I was doing, but to go further. Equinox Factory was born from that.
The two crafts feed each other: product rigor in the service of the brand, and vice versa. I’m adding AI to the mix: it speeds up exploration, and I keep the decision.

What guides every project
Simple principles, applied from the first conversation to delivery.
A misunderstood brief means a failed project from the start. Before opening Figma, I take the time to understand the users, the business, the constraints and what makes the product truly different.
Behind every request, there is a deeper problem. I don’t just answer what is asked: I look for what is really needed.
Transparency is my way of respecting the people I work with. I prefer a useful truth to a polite agreement: that’s how you build something solid together.
From the first component to the last screen, the same level of care. No sloppy deliverables, no cut corners: if it’s not right, we keep going.
With the teams
Continuous collaboration between designers and developers is essential: it brings more responsiveness and more agility.
A clear agenda and an organized flow are worth more than small meetings that interrupt everyone’s production.
Tools
Together, they support the way I think, design and collaborate, from brief to shipped product.
Mockups, design systems and component libraries. The Figma MCP links the design system to code and speeds up production.
I check on the code side that the components built match the mockups.
Websites and interactive prototypes, from design to going live, fast and responsive.
AI-assisted prototyping: several playable directions before deciding, and the decision stays mine.
My prototypes and test projects are versioned, documented and shareable.
My test projects go live so they can be tried for real, not just shown as mockups.
Image generation to explore moods and feed the prototypes.
Briefs, roadmaps and documents in one place, for clear collaboration with no loss of information.
Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop for visual identities and print and digital materials.
